文丘里打捞篮是用于清除井下难以循环到地面的各种高密度碎屑和地层颗粒的打捞工具。它是通过文丘里原理在打捞篮底部与顶部之间形成压差，从而对外部液流产生抽吸力，碎屑被工具外部液流卷起，随着工具入口处的抽吸作用进入打捞篮内，起钻时将其带到地面。文丘里打捞篮的工作效率比通过循环上返打捞篮的工作效率更高，储存空间更大。
The Venturi Fishing Basket is used to remove all kinds of high density debris and formation particles that are difficult to circulate from downhole to the surface. By Venturi principle it creates a pressure differential between the bottom and top of the basket, thereby creating suction on the external fluid flow. The debris is swept up by the external fluid flow, which enters the basket under the suction, and brought to the surface when pulling out. The Venturi Fishing Basket works more efficiently than regular baskets by circulating upwards and has larger storage space.
